So, after watching An American in Paris last night, I was thinking how cute the pots were that they used to make cafe au lait. They had handles that made it easy to pour them both to make the perfect 50/50 mixture of hot coffee and hot milk.
It took me approximately an hour on google to find something even vaguely close to it. And they’re silver and cost over $600.
There has to be a descriptive name for these types of handles (as opposed to the normal ‘loop’ handles you see on coffee servers) that would make it easier to find something like this in a non-prohibitively-expensive version.
(Sidebar: my first search was for ‘cafe au lait set’ and this did not come up. Even though it says ‘cafe au lait set’. I have lost faith in google.)
